Oct 29: Message from Gill
Hello
A Reminder to those with Buddies, can they ensure info is passed onto them please ?
So far, the replies I've had suggest that we are unimpressed by their plans and have much to say to JG Land.
Please keep your thoughts/ views coming.
I have booked Sawmills Village Hall for the 11th November for a meeting solely for the Stevos issues.
Can any committee members make a meeting on Monday 2nd at 7.15 at the Woodlands ?

Oct 16: Important email msg from Councillor Juliette Blake
Dear BASA
WOW!!! I absolutely LOVE the new website!!! You lot are so organised and professional.
Just to let you all know I have had word from John Jowitt the developer behind the Stevensons dye works site development this afternoon.
He said:-
Just thought you should be the first to know that we have the green light to proceed with an application on this site - providing the scheme can be shown to be viable.
I'm meeting officers next Thursday and will be looking to discuss how we do this. As you know from our previous discussions, this may result in us having to slim down the mix of uses.
Please let me know if you need anything further. I'll keep you informed of progress if that would help.
Needless to say I have asked him to keep me informed and that means you will also be kept informed at all stages in the process I promise.
I am really looking forward to seeing you at the Cromford Canal sponsored walk on Sunday. The weather looks fantastic for Sunday so it looks like we are in for a lovely sunny stroll.
Bye for now.
Very Best Wishes
Juliette
